Brand Guidelines

Accredited Labs

The full logo is the face of Accredited Labs — the primary visual expression we use to identify ourselves. This is why we need to be careful to use it correctly. Please ensure that the following brand guidelines are respected to maintain brand consistency. Our brand integrity is important to giving Accredited Labs a confident and reputable impression. Our brand is designed to be understated and official, with a nod to geometric forms, the precision of mathematics, and geometry, which are the backbone of the calibration industry.

Primary Logo

The Accredited Labs logo is designed to create an official, confident impression. The icon, a fusion of the checkmark symbol and the letter 'A' from 'Accredited,' results in a dynamic icon. This design choice strikes a balance between authority and approachability, reinforcing our brand's reliability and accessibility. The wordmark uses in Suisse Intl, our brand font. The touch of the electric green in the primary logo stands out amongst our competition - immediately making an impression that although we are a new collective, we are serious about becoming international leaders in calibration.

Secondary Logo & Icon

The secondary logo is the shorthand for our full name “A-Labs.” This name reflects our A+ service and efficiency The icon mark will be used whenever the full logo does not fit or work in context, such as a favicon or app icon. We will only use the icon in color combinations shown in this document. For all variations of the logo, the minimum space is equal height of the A from the wordmark, providing a balanced equilibrium around the logo.Clear space protects the logo from other visual elements that harm legibility or diminish its significance. No graphic elements should encroach around either version of the logo.

Color and Typography

Color is a crucial foundation for our brand's identity. Our palette reflects our core values of trust, reliability, and directness. Accredited Labs' primary color palette is our signature White Slate, Charcoal Black, and Electric Green, complimented by Stainless steel and Pewter Gray. This display reflects how the colors should be used proportionally: White Slate and Stainless Steel should lead as crisp, clean backgrounds, Tier 2 should be used for text and accents, whereas Tier three should be used sparingly for CTA's or critical information. All colors in the Primary Palette should be solid without opacities or gradients.

Iconography & Graphic Device

Our Iconography is sourced from Streamline icons who offer a comprehensive set of icons that will be used in our UI design system. New icons can be added as needed, but the design should follow the same outline style as the existing set, ‘Sharp Line’, a simple, serious, and brutal set with a strong geometric look. Appearance: Icons should have clean, sharp lines with consistent line thickness. Color:
Use the brand's primary color scheme. Icons should primarily be black (#090909) on light backgrounds and Electric Green (#DBFF00) on dark backgrounds. Icons should not use gradients or color blending; stick to solid fills and outlines. Size:
Icons should be designed for the following standard sizes: 16x16, 24x24, 32x32, 48x48, and 64x64 pixels. Icons must be scalable. Ensure they maintain clarity and sharpness at different sizes. Keep the aspect ratio consistent. Icons should fit within a square canvas without stretching or distortion and maintain consistent padding.

Imagery

Our brand's visual identity uses dramatic monochrome Imagery to highlight the strength and sophistication of our products. Fundamental principles include dramatic tone, high contrast, and pronounced light-shadow interplay for a striking, intense atmosphere. There are three core groupings of imagery. Please note the images are for example only.
