Conceptual Direction
Ryzome draws from the biological concept of rhizomes non-hierarchical networks where any point can connect to any other point. Like botanical rhizomes, which create interconnected root systems that can sprout new growth anywhere, Ryzome represents an interconnected ecosystem of agents.
Rooted in Connection
This Ryzome logo features an organic, branching icon that echoes natural root systems. It visually captures Ryzome’s core idea an adaptable, non-hierarchical network where intelligence grows through flexible, interconnected relationships.
The icon mark will be used whenever the full logo does not fit or work in context, such as a favicon or app icon. We will only use the icon in colour combinations shown in this document.
A system of contrast and clarity. Rooted in deep monochromes and elevated by kinetic greens and digital violets, our palette reflects the duality of Ryzome.
Our type system features Mona Sans, a modular, sans-serif font that pairs geometric clarity with timeless simplicity. Bold, versatile, and precise.
This font is licensed under the Open Font License (Google) and can be used in print and digital at the time of writing.
The brand font is available in the Google Suite therefore should be used in most purposes. Where it may not be available, such as in collaborative Microsoft Office documents where the document needs to remain editable by those who may not have access to the brand fonts then please use the system font pairing. Arial can be used in this circumstance as well.
All typography colour usage should pass AAA accessibility to be inclusive.

Capture candid, thoughtful moments that reflect individuality, quiet confidence, and a sense of purpose. Use natural light, soft shadows, and minimal staging to keep things grounded.
Subjects should feel mid-thought or mid-build authentic, not overly posed. Embrace subtle imperfections and personality. This is about real people pushing boundaries, exploring new ideas, and shaping the future with tech.
Use grainy textures to add tactile realism to digital surfaces, like a signal cutting through noise. It should feel deliberate, not decorative. Contrast smooth vector forms with subtle grit to keep things grounded and alive.

Drawing inspiration from the image of the rhizome, our language ought to feel natural and living, like a network that develops, adapts, and learns. Through our words, we do more than only impart knowledge, we transform.
We speak with assurance that is based on precision. Our voice changes with intention, constantly pointing people in the direction of empowerment and discovery, whether they are developers or inquisitive adventurers.
Our tone has to combine the wonder of possibilities (like Arc) with the accuracy of infrastructure (like Rig). Though we constantly allude to something bigger, the future we're creating together, we speak from a point of profound technical expertise.
Steer clear of highly regimented, top-down tones. Ryzome is horizontal, emergent, and decentralised. We support investigation, not teaching.
Our voice should never sound forced, even if it is technically deep. Since we are creating tools to help others, our tone should be one of friendliness, interest, and awe.
Ryzome is not like anything else. This distinctiveness must be respected by our brand language, which must steer clear of cliches, tech-speak templates, and empty promises in favour of real, grounded inspiration.
