Founded in 2000, Ganni is a fast-growing Danish contemporary ready-to-wear fashion brand. With the mission of bringing Scandinavian cool worldwide, Ganni are known for their daring brand, effortless style and polished high street presence. But they needed a web experience to match their unique, quirky ethos and worldwide ambitions, so Shoreditch Design Studio was approached to create a website that reflected this, whilst at the same time being user-friendly and accessible to existing and new customers.
Our design thinking
Our first step was to do some deep dive research into the brand - interviewing key staff across the business, checking out their competitors, stress and user testing their current site, and even venturing into Soho to their retail shops - all with the intention of getting a genuine feel for the brand, its products and its commercial aims.
We then wasted no time in getting stuck into design - creating and testing dozens of styles and designs while iterating in partnership with the client.
A Ganni style like no other - we brought Scandi minimalism and e-commerce best practices together with new homepage, product detail page, and product listing page.
