Overview
Oxford Properties is a global real estate investor, asset manager, and developer with end-to-end expertise in strengthening economies and communities. With over eight offices worldwide, their services reach all corners of the earth. To support these ever-expanding audiences, Oxford Properties needed a solid website.
The website has two essential functions. One is to provide property seekers with a user-friendly platform to buy or rent in their preferred area - this requires a user-friendly search feature and clean UI + intuitive UX. The second function is to showcase the company's influence as a stepping stone for investors to contact.
Our mission was to find points of intersection between these two user groups, identify and address pain points in the user journey, and achieve consistency and balance among the brand guidelines with different visual tones for these different We started by researching all the interaction details to understand the users, their needs, and the problem the design was trying to solve
Our design thinking
We started by researching all the interaction details to understand the users, their needs, and the problem the design was trying to solve. When users explore real estate options, they want to ensure the financial stability and reliability of the company (Krasnopeev, "Fabrika Gipotez"). Our key points of improvement were core communication, search process and navigation. The second part of our research involved analysing competitors, which allowed us to gain a more precise understanding of integrating intriguing features into the client's new website.
For the visual aesthetic, it was important to take cohesive yet tonally different approaches for the Investor pages vs the Real Estate pages. We created a very adaptable design library that can be customised to any industry using standard blocks, giving each sector uniqueness with a colour palette and combining fonts. Tailoring colour and typography choices enhances user engagement and aligns with each audience's preferences and objectives.
