One of the client's requests was to evoke the Nostalgia and calm ambience of the Almafi coast. Their brand ethos is that "it's easier to be yourself when you're relaxed".
We used the symbolism behind their name as the base inspiration for our visuals. Mosaics are a unique blend of art and home décor prominent during antiquity in the Mediterranean and North African regions. Their decorative and vibrant stone and glass tiles came together to tell stories of life, spirituality and beauty. Roman mosaics served as a backdrop to opulent times as a symbol of wealth and status.
The team worked to develop a classic serifed wordmark with timeless appeal. We developed that sense of relaxation and luxury through a palette influenced by lounging in the sun on the Med, with vibrant orange and sea foam blue as primary colours.
